From time to time, you may want to delete items from a SharePoint list for routine maintenance or some other reason. It's good to know that in case you accidentally delete an item, you can often recover it from the recycle bin. However, to be on the safe side, consider moving or archiving the items instead. You need Edit permission level or higher to delete items.
Delete items from a list
Open the list where you want to delete an item. If you can’t find the list, select Site contents, and then open the list
Select the item or items
On the list's Command bar, select Delete
When you are prompted to confirm, select OK
